Field trip forms for the end of the year field trips are due on Wednesday, the 21st. Please be sure to fill out both sides of the form and pay the three dollar fee in cash. We are still looking for one more chaperone for the June 3rd field trip. If you are interested, please let me know.
Fourth graders will take their last science test for the year on the 21st. Students brought home vocabulary cards on Friday to start studying over the weekend. Students will also be asked to draw, label, and define the different parts of the water cycle, label parts of a stream, and answer questions regarding erosion and weathering that they discovered during our experiments.
If your child has a summer birthday please let me know if they would like to celebrate with their classmates before the school year ends. Please let me know a date that works best for your family so I can have their birthday celebration items prepared for the day.
Our final day of MAPS testing will be on Tuesday the 20th from 11-12. This week students are taking the reading portion of the assessment. If you have not emailed a 4k picture to Amy Blair for the Moving On Ceremony, please do so as soon as possible. Her email address is ablair1003@gmail.com.
